This bright lens offers approximately 170% brightness compared to the conventional F2.8 lens and assures high image quality even in low light condition. Comprising 7 elements in 6 groups, including 3 aspherical lenses with 5 aspherical surfaces, this advanced lens unit realizes an outstanding slim and compact body while achieving exceptional optical performance.

The 24mm wide-angle lens* lets you easily capture large groups of people indoors or expansive architectural structures and scenes with dynamic width and rich perspective, even from short distances.

The DMC-FX75 has a 5x optical zoom (35mm camera equivalent: 24-120mm) and 10.5x Extra Optical Zoom (35mm camera equivalent: mm)*. The powerful 5x optical zoom can be increased to 6.5x equivalent with the Intelligent Zoom function taking advantage of the Intelligent Resolution technology maintaining the picture quality even using digital zoom.

HD Movie in AVCHD Lite with one-touch Video button

In addition to Motion JPEG images, the DMC-FX75 can record high-definition motion images in AVCHD Lite. It features almost double the recording time in HD quality compared with the conventional Motion JPEG format.

Evolving iA (Intelligent Auto) with Motion Deblur Mode

Motion Deblur Mode* is a comprehensive integration of Intelligent ISO and Intelligent Exposure which automatically adjusts ISO, optimizes exposure and selects the appropriate shutter speed to suppress the motion blur according to the movement of the subject. Combined with the brightness of the lens and the POWER O.I.S., the FX75 thoroughly prevents any kind of blur. With this mode, the DMC-FX75 can easily take beautiful pictures at weddings, parties, and other low light situations .

Sonic Speed AF

The Sonic Speed AF system in the DMC-FX75 has a maximum speed of approx. 0.25 second for auto focusing*. It includes numerous re-engineering enhancements, including a higher-speed actuator, optimized algorithms and parallel software processing. The result is fast and accurate AF performance. You can quickly get moving subjects in focus, such as when you're shooting sports scenes.
