The new and improved Spiderlite TD6 is the industrys most powerful compact
fluorescent lighting system on the market today. This kit comes complete with
two light heads and twelve 50-watt daylight balanced fluorescent lamps offering
over 2400 total equivalent watts of power. The Spiderlite TD6s all metal
construction insures years of quality of durability. Three newly designed low
profile switches on the back of the Spiderlite TD6 operate 2 lamps per switch
and can be easily turned on and off to control light output (without changing
color temperature). Newly added, an inline cord switch allows for powering on
and off the main unit when lights are placed up high and difficult to reach. The
mounting stud attached to the Spiderlite TD6 offers extra durability and ease of
insertion into the included tilter brackets. The BUILT IN ADAPTER RING allows
for quick and easy mounting of the included 36" x 48" shallow softbox offering a
30% reduction in depth compared to standard softboxes while providing a greater
punch of light. It is also ideal when working in cramped conditions. The 12" x
36" included stripbank with 40-degree egg-crate grid is the perfect hairlight,
accent light or rim light offering ultimate control of where your light does and
does not go. Rotate the softbox and stripbank 180 degrees with the attached
handle and lock-down turn knob. To complete the setup, included are two 10'
heavy-duty light stands and deluxe wheeled travel case.
